It is a bit hyperbolic in shape the top wingspan is curved and the little leg at the bottom comes away in the opposite direction as the wing curve. is this something i should try and clean up with chemicals or should i just leave it rinsed with water?I know that was a bit confusing but i have no idea how to explain it. Maybe a leg of a tea pot or something like that because the curve at the top is so round. I am new to this whole metal detecting and have never found anything of value. On the inside where the felt is wearing off you can see what appears to be Arabic writing.
It has some sort of a post coming out of the bottom that I have to assume was originally used to insert into something or other. They are driven into the timber and used to tie together or guide, could be a similar use on land. Spivak Rose Lake Sawmill We have been soaking, brushing and scratching at this item. Also found old bricks burried and decomposed brick in dirt about foot deep. Wondering if this is anything significant, or just scrap. I was told it was an Arabian medicine casring case.
Looks to be a circle surrounded by smaller circles on the front .. But what caught my attention is something is engraved or so it looks to be on the back..help would be appreciated...
