I tried using both plugins (one at a time), wp total cache and wp super cache. I tried this on multiple computers (both mac and pc). When I go back to the editing mode, the changes are still there.
I tried viewing the page on Chrome, Firefox and Safari and the results are the same. I have cleared my cache several times and I even ask my web host to clear the cache on the sever side, which they did, but it didn't fix the problem.
Often beginners use setup W3 Total Cache and WP Super Cache.
While you can still view the single post by clicking on the view post link from the Word Press admin area, you are unable to see it on the main page.
Another common symptom of this issue is that changes made to Word Press widgets do not show up right away on the homepage.
Next, you should look in your plugin settings to see if you can control what is cached by the Page Cache functionality.
In W3 Total Cache menu under Page Cache, there is an option to unselect caching of front page.
