The engineering firm gets the software for an inexpensive price...can set up their design model for processing (constraints, loads, etc.), then are charged to upload and run the analysis.
I run a small company that is very client driven on what version of Solid Works is used.
Lets be realistic onshape doesn't do what Soildworks can do as a whole package and will still cost you roughly the same ballpark cost in maintenance each month.
I agree Onshape doesn't provide the history-based functionality of SW.
At 0/hr it's only 10%, but that's still a substantial cost.
I too am a small company and I'm with you but I'll retire a time before you.
Sometimes we can pay Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Reduction before the date you claim. If you qualify for Council Tax Reduction, we usually pay it from the Monday after we get your claim or the Monday after your application form was issued, if received within one month.
If you are of pensionable age, we are able to consider ‘backdating’ your Council Tax Reduction claim for up to three months automatically.
If I buy SWX core for 4000 bucks and then say 00/yr. You're having to pay .20 per hour for the same experience. At around /hr, that's a pretty big cut into the bottom line, considering if you are yourself charging by the hour.
If you charge /hr, that's 20% gone (after the government gets their cut of course).
